ROY — Sparetime Family Fun Center will donate all of its weekend proceeds to help the families of the fallen and wounded officers.
Agent Jared Francom of Ogden Police died after he was shot Wednesday night as the Weber-Morgan Narcotics Strike Force served a search warrant. Five other officers were wounded, as was a suspect.
Kim Vorwaller, one of the owners of the fun center, and her husband, a reserve Weber County officer who knows some of the men, wanted to help in some way so they decided to donate their weekend proceeds.
The Bank of Utah has established funds to accept donations in their names of the six officers.
The center is open from 9 a.m. to midnight today as well as 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday. It’s at 5160 S. 1900 West.
