Later trash pickup preferred by some

FARR WEST — Trash pickup is happening too early for some residents, Councilman Lee Dickemore said recently.

He said he has received a bundle of phone calls from residents complaining that the Econo-Waste truck is coming before 6 a.m., which doesn’t give them time to put out their trash bins.

Mayor Jimmie Papageorge said he also had received some complaints.
