Biggest sports thrill: "Last year at state (the state 3-A wrestling championships), I pinned the number one seed."
Best advice I've ever received: "Losing is just a learning experience."
Last week: At the Bear River Invitational, Anderson helped the Bears earn a runner-up finish behind Wasatch as he placed second in his weight class.
Anderson on his performance: "I thought we did really good especially considering it was one of the hardest tournaments that our school has had in a long time. We don't usually have teams that hard and I think we did really good against them. I could have done better my last match but other than that I thought I did real good. My goal is to be a state champ and region champ. I think the team can do real good and be top three at state."
Coach Jeff Smart on Anderson: "Justin is two-time state placer and one of my team captains. He's really strong on his feet and good with takedowns. He's been a great leader this year."
After high school: "I'm going to be an automotive mechanic. I'll go to Bridgerland Applied Technology College."
