Biggest sports thrill: "Winning state in volleyball this year."
Best advice I've ever received: "Work hard and good things happen."
Last week: Schenk, who is averaging 14.1 points and 10.3 rebounds for the Trojans (9-4), scored 24 points and pulled down 19 rebounds as Morgan defeated Bear River, 60-41.
Schenk on her performance: "I think we're all working well together right now. We thought it was going to be a rebuilding year but so far we're doing pretty well with the younger and older players working together. I'm strong in different areas. I can handle the ball, rebound and shoot. No matter who shoots it on either team I just run to the hole (for the rebound). At this point we're taking it one step at a time with region and then we'll worry about what needs to get done at state."
Coach Brad Matthews on Schenk: "She's just a scorer. She's a pure shooter. With her rebounding she has a nose for the ball. She just goes and gets it."
After high school: "I would like to play a college sport, either volleyball or basketball. I'd like to study occupational therapy."
