Division of Water Resources: S. Weber noncompliant

SALT LAKE CITY -- The Utah Division of Water Resources has identified four water providers as noncompliant with the Water Conservation Plan Act, among them being South Weber City Water System.

Nibley City, Helper Municipal Water System, and East Carbon & Columbia Municipal Water also failed to submit water conservation plans in 2011, as required by the WCPA. Contact has been made with all of these non-compliant water providers.

The DWRe is working with each system to ensure they prepare water conservation plans and are compliant with the WCPA.

The act requires water conservancy districts and retailers with more than 500 drinking water connections to prepare water conservation plans and submit to the Division of Water Resources.
