Runaway bulls lead Logan officers on slow chase

LOGAN -- Police say two bulls that stormed through a fence stopped traffic while they led Logan officers on a low-speed chase.

Asst. Police Chief Jeff Curtis tells the Herald Journal (http://bit.ly/wcghPR ) the bulls' owner was trying to feed the animals Monday when they burst through their fence and started running through northwest Logan.

Officials say the bulls ran across roads several times, and closed intersections briefly during a chase that lasted more than an hour.

Police were finally able to contain the bulls in a feed yard near Gossner Foods.
