Syracuse mayor appointed to board

SYRACUSE -- Mayor Jamie Nagle has been appointed as the city's representative to the Wasatch Integrated Waste Management District Administrative Control Board.

She replaces Alan Clark, a councilman, whose term expired Jan. 2. Clark was beaten in a re-election bid in November.

The waste position comes with a stipend of $2,000 a year, and Nagle said she will donate the revenue to a scholarship fund at the city's recreation center.

The board is made up of representatives from Morgan County, the Davis County Commission, and a representative of every municipality in Davis County, except Bountiful, which h
