End of road project helps fund another

SALT LAKE CITY -- A finished road project in Weber County has provided funds to a project farther north.

The Utah Transportation Commission approved a funding transfer Friday that sent $3.2 million in funds left over from the Hinckley Drive project in West Haven to the 10th West project in Logan, which will add capacity to the road.

UDOT Director of Programs and Finance Bill Lawrence said the Hinckley Drive project was under budget because the state received a good bid
