Ron McBride will hit the sidelines one last time, coaching in the Casino Del Sol College All-Star Football Game, set for Monday in Tucson, Ariz.
Mac will be on the West sidelines with coaches Pat Hill and Dick Tomey, also recently out of work.
Utah defensive players Timote Fotu and Tevita Finau are set to play.
The East team will be coached by Houston Nutt.
Meanwhile, BYU offensive tackle Matt Reynolds will play in the East-West Shrine Game, set for Jan. 21 in St. Petersburg, Fla.
Also, Utah State linebacker Bobby Wagner will play in the Senior Bowl, set for Jan. 28 in Mobile, Ala.
Cool shootout
The Luc Robitaille Celebrity Shoot Out presented by Echoes of Hopewill be held Jan. 22 in Park City. Players set to appear include Robitaille, Pierre Turgeon, Rob Blake, Derek Armstrong, Ian Laperriere, Adam Foote, Marty McSorley, and Glen Murray, along with celebrities Michael Vartan, Andie MacDowell, Steven R. McQueen, Alan Thicke, Ryne Sanborn, and Treat Williams.
Olympic speedskater Allison Baver, NHL's "First Lady of Hockey" Manon Rheaume and former basketball player Chris Webber are also scheduled to appear. Tending the net will be Ken Baker of E! and Linda Cohn of SportsCenter.
