Woman backs car into store window

OGDEN — A Saturn sedan backed into a store late Sunday afternoon.

A 76-year-old woman was at the wheel of her Saturn around 4:35 p.m. in the parking lot in front of Honk’s Dollar Store, 2020 Harrison Blvd., when her car, for whatever reason, went in reverse, said Ogden Police Lt. Troy Burnett. The Saturn went up the curb and backed into the store at 5 mph through a window.

The window was destroyed, but no one was hurt. There was no indication the woman was impaired, Burnett said.

The accident caused at least $1,000 in damage to the store.
