Centerville city recorder’s office may be reorganized

CENTERVILLE — With the pending retirement of City Recorder Marilyn Holje, the city council is considering reorganizing the recorder’s office.

In December, the council started talks about reorganization. Staff presented plans to create a management-assistant position responsible for the public information program and special projects and analysis under the direction of the city manager.

With these changes, the recorder duties will change slightly.

The council is expected to address this issue, potentially at the next January meeting.
