OGDEN — The public is invited to hear Greg S. Lewis, professor of Asian and world history at Weber State University, speak on Chinese cinema from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the Ogden Golf and Country Club.
Lewis’ talk will be on “Chinese Cinema, the First 100 Years: Its Tortured Path and Development.”
The free talk will be hosted by the Greater Ogden Branch of the American Association of University Women.
Lewis spent the past year in China on a Fulbright grant, studying Chinese film for research on a textbook he is writing on the topic.
