Alexander Oswaldo Urquijo

Alexander Oswaldo Urquijo, born Jan. 21, 1998, died Sunday, Jan. 15, 2012, from complications due to meningitis and encephalitis. A funeral Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 20, at the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 210 S. Chapel St., Layton. A funeral will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, at the Jensen Park LDS Chapel, 1200 W. 3024 South, Syracuse. Viewings will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the Myers Mortuary of Layton, 250 N. Fairfield, and from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church before the funeral. Interment, Syracuse City Cemetery. Contributions to the family to help offset funeral and medical expenses may be made at any U.S. Bank location in Alex's name.
