Burnadean Blake of Roy will celebrate her 80th birthday. Family and friends may attend an open house in her honor from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 28, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Roy 16th Ward, 4524 S. 2525 West.
The 12th of 13 children, she was born on Jan. 30, 1932, in Marian, Idaho, to Pearl and John O. McArthur.
She married Leroy Blake in 1951. He died in 1978.
Her interests include ceramics, crocheting and reading.
She retired from Hill Air Force Base in 1993 after more than 26 years.
Her children are Roger Blake, Jim Blake, Randy and Terry Blake, Mark and Martha Blake, Kathy Mansfield, Jeff and Colleen Blake, Robert Blake, Kelly Blake, Gary and Toni Blake, and Charles Blake. She has 25 grandchildren.
