Ralph A. Osborne

Ralph A. Osborne of South Weber celebrated his 80th birthday with family and a few friends.

He married his high school sweetheart, Eloise Brostrom, and enjoyed 40 years of marriage before she died.

He enjoys being involved in the Roy Scout program. His troop earned several Top 25 and Top 50 awards from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints while he was Scoutmaster. He was also awarded the Silver Beaver Scouting award.

Trains have been a passion of his since boyhood. He is an officer in a local model train club. He designed and built his own garden railroad in his backyard. He is retired from the Navy and Air Force Reserve. He was deployed to active duty for three months during the Desert Storm conflict.

He has been married to his current wife, Edith Killpack, for 18 years. They enjoy traveling with the Good Sam Club and spending time with and helping their families.
