Clearfield parks board needs people

CLEARFIELD -- The city is looking for residents to help guide the city parks and recreation.

There are openings for the Parks and Recreation Commission, which is made up of nine residents. These people act as the eyes and ears of the community for issues dealing with parks and recreation.

They provide perspective for city officials and staff to evaluate the appropriateness and effectiveness of the city programs, activities and services.

Those appointed serve a three-year term. Interested parties can submit a letter of intent by Feb. 8 to Eric Howes, 55 S. State St., Clearfield, Ut., 84015.
