Beda Archibald of Ogden celebrated her 80th birthday with her family at a private dinner held in her honor at the Timbermine Restaurant & Steak House on Jan. 28.
She was born Jan. 27, 1932, in Ogden to Alex D. and Beda P. Coy.
She married Albert R. Archibald (now deceased) in Elko, Nev., and they raised eight children. In 1969, their vows were solemnized in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Logan Temple. She held many positions in the church and enjoyed them all.
She retired from Coleman Knitting Mills after 35 years as a chenille operator.
She enjoys gardening, traveling and spending time with her family. She is also a seamstress.
Her children and spouses are Linda Archibald (deceased), Bill and Lori Archibald, Sheri and Mark Hill, Kristine Maiava, Kelly Archibald, Denise Neverez, Gary and Tina Archibald, and Jeremey and RaNae Archibald.
She has 12 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
