LaRae Crapo Tolman of Bountiful is celebrating her 80th birthday at an open house hosted by her children from 6 to 7 p.m. on Feb. 4 at the clubhouse of the Camelot Mobile Home Community, 655 N. Highway 89, North Salt Lake.
The youngest of four children, she was born on Feb. 7, 1932, in Roosevelt to Jonathan Dean and Imogene O'Neil Crapo.
She attended Box Elder High School, then married Wendell Saunders. They had four children and were later divorced.
She worked at Hill Air Force Base and retired with 20 years of service.
Her children are Wendell and Vila Saunders, Suzy and Rod Beaumont, Wendy Jane and David Rogers, Jon and Heather Saunders, Claudia and Steve Nielsen, and Paul and Christy Tolman. She has 26 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
