Mac and Benita Aguilar

celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Jan. 26.

They were honored with a family luncheon at Ruby River Restaurant on Jan. 28.

They were married on Jan. 26, 1952, in Sequin, Texas. They lived in Texas until 1961. They settled in Ogden, where they have made their home and raised their seven children.

He worked for Stucki-Miller Roofing Inc., and she worked for Weber State College. Both retired in 1986.

They enjoy camping, fishing, hunting, and spending time with their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Their children and spouses are Pauline and Jerry Martinez, Sara Balli, Mac Jr. and Johanna Aguilar, Nina Ruiz, Jimmy and Sally Aguilar, Rudy Aguilar, and Danny and Rita Aguilar.

They have 23 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
