Ogden police arrest 3 for meth distribution

OGDEN -- Three men were arrested Tuesday for possession of methamphetamine.

The Ogden Police Department's Crime Reduction Unit arrested two men as a result of an anonymous tip, Lt. Scott Conley said.

The tip indicated the residents of 925 Rushton St. in Ogden were selling, distributing and using illegal narcotics.

Police paid a visit to the home, where Scott Dale Robertson, 53, and Christopher Boyde Wood, 44, resided, to do a "knock and talk."

After asking permission to enter the premises, Conley said, officers saw paraphernalia and asked to search the home further.

Police found drugs on the suspects.

Robertson was arrested for possession of meth within 1,000 feet of a church and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond totalled $21,983.

Wood was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of meth and assault. His bond totalled $7,219.

The same day, the Weber County Sheriff's Office arrested Joseph Anthony Gallegos, 21, for unlawful possession of another's identification documents, driving on a revoked or suspended license and possession of meth within 1,000 feet of a church or a school.

A deputy had stopped a car, in which Gallegos was the passenger, because the driver had outstanding warrants. Gallegos' bond totalled $10,540.

All three were booked into Weber County Jail.
