PLEASANT VIEW -- The city council has approved the third phase of Country Fields subdivision.
The original plan for the subdivision included four phases; phase one and two were completed in accordance with the original plan, said Community Development Director Bruce Talbot.
"Since then, the economy went a little bit sour, so they have come back and asked us to approve (the subdivision) in smaller groups, about 10 lots at a time."
Mayor Doug Clifford said subdivision streets will be expanded and one will eventually go through to 1100 West. He also said the city has allowed small phases in other subdivisions in the past.
