Standard-Examiner readers were invited to share their favorite 2002 Winter Olympic memories:
I was in charge of the computer support at Soldier Hollow.
Watched the opening ceremonies with my cohorts, arrived at the venue at 0600 to find that a generator had blown a circuit and everything single thing was off. Had 3 hours to get everything booted and ready before the 0900 race.
THAT was an aw $h1t moment. We made it just in time. The volunteers were awesome.
