FARMINGTON -- A judge set a hearing for testimony about a possible probation violation committed by a 27-year-old man who robbed several Clearfield fast-food restaurants.
Nathaniel David Lantz appeared Monday before 2nd District Court Judge Michael G. Allphin.
His attorney, Craig Peterson, requested the hearing and said they plan to call three witnesses. The hearing is set for March 19.
Lantz pleaded guilty to two counts of first-degree felony aggravated robbery Dec. 27, 2010. He admitted to robbing a Walgreens Drug Store in Layton, as well as McDonald's, Subway and Baskin-Robbins Ice Cream, all in Clearfield, during the summer of 2010.
He was sentenced in February 2011 to three years' probation and one year in jail in lieu of two prison sentences.
Lantz was arrested and booked into Davis County Jail on Jan. 10 for failing to pay his fines, failing to pay restitution and failing to complete treatment at Odyssey House, a nonprofit center that provides treatment for those with substance addictions.
