Roy leaders switch laptops for iPads

ROY — The Roy City Council and mayor are trading in their laptops for iPads, and the council recently received its newest technology.

The council’s laptops were becoming outdated and it was less expensive to switch them out with iPads than to buy new laptops, City Manager Chris Davis said.

Davis figures the city saved about $800 per iPad compared to the laptops.
