Twin Falls man, Utah brother claim $1M Powerball prize

BOISE, Idaho -- Idaho Lottery officials say a set of brothers have claimed a $1 million Powerball prize.

Bill Edson of Twin Falls and Mike Edson of Salt Lake City claimed their prize Tuesday in Boise.

Bill Edson bought the winning ticket for the Feb. 11 drawing at the Stinker Station on Shoshone Street in Twin Falls.

KMVT-TV reports Edson didn't think he'd won at first because he didn't match the Powerball. But then he saw the news about the million dollar winner and thought the numbers looked familiar.

He says the grabbed the ticket out of recycling and started matching the numbers up.
