Aggies will play final home game Friday night

Utah State (14-14, 5-6) will play its final home game of the regular season when it hosts Western Athletic Conference foe Idaho (16-11, 7-4) at 7 p.m. tonight at th Smith Spectrum.

"It's senior night and hopefully we can come out and play with some energy and enthusiasm and try to play good basketball," USU coach Stew Merrill said. "That's what it is going to take. Idaho has a nice team and they've found a way to win some close games that has got to them to 7-4 in league."

The Aggies will recognize their three seniors -- Morgan Grim, Brady Jardine and Brockeith Pane -- prior to the game

Idaho is 16-11 on the season. The Vandals have won each of its last five games including a 77-68 home win against Portland State last weekend. Idaho is led by junior center Kyle Barone who is averaging 13.1 points and 8.2 rebounds per game.
