Avalanche injures snowmobiler

MONTE CRISTO-- Rescuers are trying to reach an injured snowmobiler who triggered an avalanche in the Ogden Valley.

The location is in a remote area off Curtis Creek Road outside of Monte Cristo, according to the Weber 911 Dispatch Center. A snowmobiler has reportedly suffered a broken femur in the accident.

A Lifeflight Helicopter is enroute to the scene, said dispatchers.
