A free workshop featuring Ken Fakler, director, Orem Small Business Development Center, will be presented from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. March 8, at Weber State University, Wattis Business Building, Room 218. Weber State is at 3848 Harrison Blvd. in Ogden.
According to the Davis County Chamber of Commerce website, the event is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration, with co-sponsors Weber State University Small Business Development Center and SCORE.
Attendees will learn how Fakler Tire Service grew as a two-generation family-owned business. The workshop will address: performance, communication, extended family rules, compensation, bonuses, and more.
