Plastic grocery bags sprout from trees

Editor,

I'm 73 years old and I thought I had seen most everything, but recent windstorms taught me a whole new lesson.

I had always thought that the plastic shopping bags were manufactured in a factory, but now I know that they sprout from trees on windy days.

And, I suspect little elves work in the night to gather this plastic bag crop so the grocery stores can have an adequate supply for their customers.

Will wonders never cease?
