Thursday , March 01, 2012 - 11:40 AM
The city has decided not to adopt the new Davis County Animal Control ordinance.
The county’s new ordinance requires cats to be licensed and increases the number of dogs per household. The city council decided not to require licensing cats and wanted to keep the number of dogs per household at two, unless a kennel license was issued.
The number of cats will still be limited to five.
A public hearing was held and no comments were made.STORY:201203010086West Point rejects new animal control ordinance /Lifestyle/2012/03/01/West-Point-rejects-new-animal-control-ordinance.html-1
