SALT LAKE CITY -- Lawmakers on Friday honored Roy for its 75th anniversary as a city.
Those receiving the honor were Mayor Joe Ritchie, City Manager Chris Davis and anniversary committee members Marge Becraft, Debby Larsen and Lance Allen.
Rep. Richard Greenwood, R-Roy, and Sen. Scott Jenkins, R-Plain City, presented the group at the legislature and gave the attendees a citation signed by legislators and the governor honoring the city.
