American Indian symposium planned

OGDEN — Sheldon Spotted Elk, an advocate at Utah Legal Services, will be the keynote speaker at Weber State University’s seventh annual American Indian Symposium.

The event, sponsored by WSU’s Multicultural Student Center and the American Indian Council, will run from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursday at the Wildcat Theater, in the Shepherd Union Building at WSU, 3848 Harrison Blvd.

The event is free.
