LAYTON -- The Winter Quarters Coal Mine disaster, in which 200 lives were lost, will be the topic of the monthly Snow Horse Chapter, Sons of Utah Pioneers meeting.
The meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. today in the Davis County Library Central Branch auditorium, 155 N. Wasatch Drive, Layton.
Craig Fuller, of the Utah State Historical Society and an expert on mining, will be the presenter.
