Skyler Sheperd, 22, Colton Raines, 22, and Robert Cole Boyer, 29, appeared before 2nd District Judge Ernie Jones.

All three stood before Jones with their lawyers and agreed to a April 25 status conference.

Attorneys Greg Skordas and Glen Neeley asked for the extended date because of the "very voluminous" evidence in the case to review.

Denice Fujimoto, the sister of Esther Fujimoto who was killed in the incident, was in court for the hearing. She described it as "unnerving" to see the three men in court.

"I can’t look at them," she said.

Denice Fujimoto has filed a wrongful death suit against the three men.
