CLEARFIELD -- Early morning commuters were kept at a snail's pace as crews investigated a one-car rollover Friday that left the driver with minor injuries.
Utah Highway Patrol Trooper Todd Johnson said the accident happened near exit 335 shortly before 7 a.m.
The female driver was traveling south on Interstate 15 when the tire on the driver's side blew out, causing her to veer left and roll into the median, with the car landing on its top.
Crews shut down the southbound left lane for about an hour while they investigated the accident. It is unknown if the tire was worn or if the tire hit debris in the road, Johnson said.
The woman was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
No citations were issued.
