WEST HAVEN -- The Utah Department of Transportation has begun work to reconstruct two intersections in western Weber County.
First in West Haven, UDOT crews will rebuild the intersection of 4000 South and 4700 West.
Crews will be constructing right-hand turn lanes at the intersection to help reduce congestion in the area, as well as installing pedestrian ramps that comply with the Americans With Disabilities Act.
During the project, one lane of traffic will be maintained, but there may be some delays in the area near the intersection, said UDOT Region One spokesman Vic Saunders.
In Hooper, similar work is being completed at the intersection of 5500 South and 5900 West. One lane of traffic will be maintained, but Saunders said motorists should anticipate some congestion or consider alternate routes, particularly during mid-afternoons, when school adjourns at the adjacent Hooper Eleme
