Ogden offers free trees to residents

Beginning April 3, the Ogden City Tree Nursery will open at the Green Waste Site, 1845 Monroe Blvd., from 8 a.m. to noon Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays until all the trees are gone.

Approximately 200 trees are available for pickup on a first come, first served basis and are limited to one tree per household.

The trees must be planted in parking strips, and residents must bring proof of residency and a driver’s license when picking up trees.

For more information, call the Public Ways and Parks Division, 801-629-8271.
