ROY -- Just minutes after the crime, police caught a woman they suspect robbed a gas station with a baby in the getaway vehicle.
Brittnee B. Boren, 23, walked into the Sinclair at 5608 S. 1900 West about 7 p.m. Friday, police say.
Boren had a knife and ordered the employee to give her money from the register, said Roy Police Sgt. Curtis Gibson.
Police believe she then left with a small amount of cash and drove east on 5600 South in a red Ford F-150.
Shortly after, Riverdale police found her near 40th Street and Riverdale Road. Officers found the money in the truck, as well as a 10-month-old child. Gibson could not immediately confirm if the child was hers.
Police also discovered that the truck was stolen and believe she took it right before committing the robbery, he said.
After she was taken into custody, Boren also kicked out the window of a police car in a failed attempt to escape, according to the police.
She was booked into Weber County Jail under suspicion of aggravated robbery, theft of a vehicle, reckless endangerment and criminal mischief.
