PAGE -- Authorities say a Wyoming man has died at the Glen Canyon National Recreation Area in northern Arizona.
National Park Service officials didn't immediately release the name of the 34-year-old Laramie resident.
They say the man was found dead Friday at Lees Ferry and the cause of the death isn't immediately known.
The man was camped at Lees Ferry along with his family and friends and they planned to float the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon on Friday morning.
Park officials received a 911 call about 6:15 a.m. The incident is being jointly investigated by the National Park Service and the Coconino County Sheriff's Office.
