CLEARFIELD -- Police are seeking information about a shooter, or shooters, at a party early Saturday morning in the vicinity of 150 N., 1200 W.
Police responded at 12:30 a.m., after neighbors called to report gunshots and a fight at a home, said Lt. Adam Malan.
When officers arrived, several teenagers and adults were seen climbing fences and leaving the area on foot and in vehicles.
Police found three people inside the home had all been shot, Malan said. A fourth person, who had also been shot, was found outside hiding, Malan said.
Three of the four victims were taken to a local hospital. Two of them were released from the hospital that night. Another is recovering from a gunshot wound to the throat, Malan said. The fourth victim had a bullet graze to the head and was treated at the scene.
Names of the victims, who are minors, are not being released at this time.
Malan said detectives had learned that a party was at the home, and that a fight happened outside the home in cul-de-sac.
"We don't know if the victims were targeted or victims of stray bullets," Malan said.
Malan also said they don't know if there were more victims. Police are not sure how many shots were fired, Malan said.
Police are asking that people with knowledge of the shooting should call 801-525-2806 or 801-525-2837.
