Last week: Reeves helped the Bees move to 7-1 with wins over Olympus and Logan. On the season, she is 3-1 in the circle with 29 strikeouts and a 0.89 ERA while also batting .471 with a 1.000 slugging percentage.
Reeves on her performance: "I have a really good defense to back me up. I never worry if the ball gets hit. I'm not where I want to be but I'm getting there. I thought we'd be really strong because we have a lot of talent on both defense and offense and it all complements each other. We want to be region champs and hopefully take state."
Coach Mandy Hodgson on Reeves: "She just does it all. She's a very good pitcher and throws very hard. She doesn't play another position so has been able to work on her pitching and hitting. She knows how to have fun with the girls and knows when it's time to be serious."
After high school: "Hopefully I'll play college ball and become a psychologist."
