LOGAN -- A Utah State University administrator has been fired after a routine internal audit showed irregularities in the distribution of scholarship funds.
School spokesman Tim Vitale said Wednesday that Jennifer Putnam Twiss was recently terminated, and the case is under investigation.
Twiss has not been charged with a crime.
She directed enrollment services and oversaw the offices of admissions, the registrar and financial aid. Twiss is a graduate of the school.
Police confirmed to The Herald Journal (http://bit.ly/GFG8vI) that the case involves a substantial amount of money.
The newspaper's attempts to reach Twiss Wednesday were not successful. Her phone number is unlisted.
