Top of Utah pastor to be part of rallies during health care sessions at Supreme Court

The Rev. Dr. Myke Crowder, of Layton’s Christian Life Center, representing the National Clergy Council, will give remarks and prayer at the U.S. Supreme Court in preparation for Monday’s historic arguments relating to the federal government’s health care mandates, a news release states.

The National Clergy council is a network of more than 5,000 church leaders from all traditions including Catholic, Evangelical, Orthodox and Protestant.

The network is funded by more than 80,000 donors across America.

The National Clergy Council has issued a Declaration of a State of Emergency in the Churches related to the President’s mandate for religious organizations to provide certain insurance coverage that contradicts their Christian morality and ethics.

The declaration was hand-delivered to the White House.

On Sunday and Monday, Crowder will join the Rev. Pat Mahoney of the Christian Defense Coalition and will be delivering the prayer and keynote remarks for a rally at the U.S. Supreme Court.
