Utah Humane Society giving away 'senior' cats

MURRAY -- The Utah Humane Society is gearing up for the upcoming kitten season by putting its senior adult cats on sale.

The Murray-based shelter says it needs more kennel space for spring, when many cats give birth and kittens start arriving at the shelter's doors.

All cats past 7 months old can be adopted for half price, while all cats 6 years old or older are available for free to good homes.

The promotion launched Friday.
