HONEYVILLE -- Two Weber County residents were seriously injured when their motorcycle crashed into a car they had been following around 2 p.m. Sunday.
Names of the two victims aren't available, according to a Utah Highway Patrol news release.
The two had been traveling north, behind a car, on State Road 38, north of Honeyville.
The car began to make a left turn at the same time the motorcycle moved to pass on the car's left side, states the release.
The motorcycle took out the car's left front fender, and the cycle's male driver and female passenger were sent into a nearby ditch. Neither was wearing a helmet, and both received head injuries.
The man was taken by ambulance to a Tremonton hospital, and the woman was airlifted to an Ogden-area hospital, the release states.
The female driver of the car was not injured.
