Bell, who has worked for the Weber School District for 14 years, received a termination letter March 21, said Nate Taggart, a spokesman for the district.

Bell can appeal his firing.

Taggart also said the district has turned over information allegedly involving Bell to the North Ogden Police Department. He declined to disclose the nature of the information because it is a personnel matter.

The North Ogden Police Department said in a news release Tuesday it was contacted by a representative of Weber School District on March 7 and informed of an allegation involving a female juvenile and a man. The news release does not name the juvenile or the man.
