Bail hearing set in Farmington sex abuse case

FARMINGTON -- A bail hearing has been set for a 75-year-old man charged with four counts of aggravated sexual abuse of a child.

LeeRoy Fry, of Farmington, appeared in 2nd District Court on Wednesday.

All four charges are first-degree felonies. He is being held in Davis County Jail in lieu of $250,000 bail. The judge set a bail hearing for 1:30 p.m. Friday.

Fry was arrested Saturday after a parent called the Division of Child and Family Services to report the abuse. The agency then called police. According to court documents, the charges stem from incidents that occurred from June 22, 2011, to Feb. 29, and on March 22, involving two young girls.
