3-year-old run over by car in Ogden still in critical condition

OGDEN — A 3-year-old remains in critical condition at the University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City after he was hit by a car at a residence in the 900 East block of 1225 North around 1 p.m. Thursday, says Ogden Police Lt. Shawn Hamblin.

The Pocatello boy, who was not identified, was visiting relatives. He was playing with a child in the neighborhood when a woman in her 30s backed out of a driveway and ran over him, Hamblin said.

The name of the driver was not released. No charges have been filed.
