SALT LAKE CITY -- With the 2012 Pacific Coast League season set to start, the Salt Lake Bees and Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim announced 22 members of the Bees' roster expected to open the season on Thursday at Tacoma.

Salt Lake returns six pitchers who saw action for the Bees a year ago, including the Angels' 2011 minor league pitcher of the year Matt Shoemaker. The tallest player in all of pro baseball, 7-foot-1 Ludovicus "Loek" Van Mil will make his first appearance with the Bees in 2012.
