Biggest sports thrill: "Probably when I hit two home runs in one game when I was 12 in a tournament in Cooperstown, New York."
Best advice I've ever received: "It's about the name about the front of the jersey, not the name on the back."
Last week: Olsen, who is hitting .571 for the undefeated (4-0) Darts, went 2-for-4 as Davis downed Sky View 5-1 on Thursday. Region 1 play begins next week for the Darts.
Olsen on his performance: "I feel like we have played pretty good. We haven't had a ton of time to be outside and work on things. I think we're a really good team. We have a lot of talent and a lot of potential. I've just been seeing the ball really well and focusing on getting base hits. I'm not trying to swing for the fences or anything."
Coach Dave Leo on Olsen: "He has the slickest glove and the greatest hands. If it a ball comes his way, it's money. He's a very, very good defensive player. For a big kid (6-foot-5) he's very graceful. He's a pure hitter and he can flat out swing it."
After high school: "I'm just going to go to college for a year and then go go on an LDS (Church) mission."
